Job Title: Regional Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Construction Manager to join our team at Evergreen Residential Holdings, LLC. As a key member of our construction operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and expense management of our single-family residential (SFR) properties across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the construction and expense management of SFR properties, including coordinating with vendors, project managers, inspectors, and 3rd party property managers.
  • Collaborate with our designer to develop floorplan layouts and design scope.
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of property inspections, preparation of repair bids, and execution of the rehab process.
  • Manage budgets, revise scopes, and coordinate with vendor management to ensure appropriate vendor capacity.
  • Maintain productive relationships with internal teams and external vendors and property managers.
  • Schedule and manage construction activities, including assigning approved renovations to third-party vendors.
  • Ensure inspections are performed in accordance with company timelines and property standards.
  • Monitor, update, and report through the property management system.
  • Minimize change orders through effective training and documentation.
  • Ensure renovations are on track and meet quality standards.
  • Oversee and drive lean and efficient employee capacity planning.
  • Hold regular team meetings to align on performance and areas of opportunity.
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma required, College Degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of residential construction experience, including property inspection experience.
  • 5+ years in a management position with excellent leadership skills and a focus on customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage budgets and negotiate contracts.
  • Deep knowledge of local and national building and property management codes.
  • Ability to effectively manage and execute on multiple activities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication and reading skills.
  • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills for both self and others to consistently meet goals and deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and highly motivated.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Current and valid driver's license.
