Key Responsibilities
  • Perform access control indoors and outdoors
  • Provide customer service to clients, customers, employees, visitors, and guests
  • Report any suspicious persons, vehicles, packages, and/or activities
  • Respond to emergencies and provide necessary support
  • Patrol site
  • Write incident reports and log book entries
  • Protect client's and company's assets from theft, assault, fire, or other safety issues
Requirements
  • 2 years of security experience
  • Valid New York State Security Guard License
  • NYC Fireguard S-95 Certification
  • CPR & First Aid
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Command of the English language and ability to be clearly understood in English
  • Strong smartphone and tablet operating skills
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • 18 years old (or the minimum age required by State)
  • Authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Pass a drug test with negative results
  • Pass an extensive background check
