We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach various Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management courses at Southeast Community College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the culinary industry and excellent teaching skills.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management courses, including Culinary Fundamentals, Baking/Pastry Fundamentals, and Culinary and Baking/Pastry Restaurant Prep Lab.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Associate's degree in a Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management program.
- Three (3) years of current experience in the food service industry.
- Five (5) years of current experience in the food service industry.
- Teaching experience in a culinary arts or hospitality management program.
- Experience in full-service restaurants, garde manger, pastry, baking, catering, and banquets.
- Bachelor's degree in Restaurant Management or Culinary Arts.
- Certification as a Culinary Educator and certification at Sous Chef level or above.
