Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to teach Arabic courses at Lincoln University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Arabic language and literature, as well as excellent teaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Arabic language and literature, as assigned by the department chair.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet department and university standards.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department chair.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Arabic language and literature or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in an undergraduate or graduate institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Work Environment:

The work environment is primarily performed in a university campus setting and requires a flexible schedule, including possible evening and weekend work.
