Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Management
- Ensure the timely completion of the weekly production agenda as directed by the Laboratory Director.
- Optimize workspace utilization and processes to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards in extraction products.
- Monitor consumable usage and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Assist in the upkeep of production equipment, ensuring compliance with user manuals.
- Possess a thorough understanding of laboratory equipment and processes necessary for producing various product types.
- Promote safety in all laboratory activities and oversee adherence to safety protocols.
- Participate in the recruitment process for new team members.
- Guide, train, and motivate team members as directed by the Laboratory Director.
- Support Research & Development initiatives as assigned and perform additional duties as necessary.
- Operational Coordination
- Collaborate with the Driver Manager to schedule incoming and outgoing materials.
- Work with Security and the Biomass Team regarding material deliveries.
- Human Resources Oversight
- Manage employee payroll processes.
- Coordinate with HR and the Laboratory Director on staffing and administrative HR tasks.
- Facilitate onboarding for new employees, including training on laboratory functions and introductions to team members.
- Quality Assurance
- Oversee pesticide testing for all incoming materials.
- Coordinate analytical testing for all products, including managing laboratory pickups and cataloging results.
- Ensure timely completion of production projects based on inventory and sales forecasts.
- Supervise the classification of finished products and prepare weekly sales projections for approval.
- Conduct ongoing quality assurance sampling and testing, providing reports to the Laboratory Director as required.
- Traceability and Record Keeping Manage tracking and documentation of all biomass and concentrate products throughout processing.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 to 5 years of administrative experience with progressive responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional climbing, stooping, and exposure to various environmental conditions.

- Adaptability to changing work conditions and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
