Job Details

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN Electrophysiology Lab for a rewarding travel nursing opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Please note that only candidates with an active scrub tech certification will be considered. Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75-mile radius rule. Time off requests must be disclosed with the initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and/or Structural Heart procedures.
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation is maintained.
  • Accurately administer medication, charges, and reporting.
  • Respond to emergent care situations.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Assure preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance with PHS, Local, and Federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in RN program, radiology.
  • Prefer 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures in performing scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording duties.
  • RN licensure required.
  • BLS, ACLS & PALS.
  • Detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology.
Work Schedule

7am - 5 pm shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On-call, weekends, and holidays may be required. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.

Orientation

1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs required.
