Job Summary:

Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Electrophysiology Lab for a travel nursing job in a hospital setting. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care in the Electrophysiology Lab, including Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and/or Structural Heart
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation is maintained, and accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load
  • Respond and provide emergent care, performs administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab
  • Assure preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance in accordance to PHS, Local and Federal regulations

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in RN program, radiology
  • Prefer 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures in performing scrubbing, circulating and monitoring/recording duties
  • RN licensure required
  • BLS, ACLS & PALS
  • Requires detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology

Shifts:

  • 7am - 5 pm - May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs
  • On call, weekends and holidays may be required

Orientation:

  • 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training
