Quality Assurance Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Intern to join our team at Red Gold. As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will assist in the technical support of plant QA projects, conduct product testing and research, and provide administrative support to the Quality Systems Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the technical support of plant QA projects, including product testing and research
- Conduct analytical testing of products as needed
- Support Quality Systems Manager with sampling and/or product testing
- Compile and organize data for validation and verification work
- Aid in conducting product cuttings and/or sensory panels
- Provide administrative support to the Quality Systems Manager, including data entry and filing
- Actively seeking a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Agriculture, or Consumer Family Sciences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer knowledge required; MS Office
- Ability to work in a lab environment and perform physical tasks as required
The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, use fingers to operate a computer, and regularly walk. The employee may occasionally be required to crouch and lift/carry items as heavy as 60 pounds.
