Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The primary role of the Director of Family and Clinical Services is to provide individualized teleconsultation services via phone or video across two specialized teams:

  1. A parent training initiative focused on parents and caregivers of children with various learning and behavioral challenges.
  2. A neurodiversity at work initiative aimed at supporting neurodivergent professionals and their managers.

This position emphasizes the importance of ongoing consultation, ensuring that regular follow-ups with clients are conducted. The Director will be responsible for documenting notes, recommendations, and referrals, and will respond to client inquiries within one business day.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing behavioral analytic strategies and techniques for implementation in home and community settings (e.g., potty training, social skills development, advocacy skills, daily living activities).
  • Guiding clients through the school system, IEP processes, and transition programming to adulthood.
  • Assisting with navigating diagnoses, self-disclosure, self-advocacy, and executive functioning skills in professional environments.
  • Making referrals to additional company-sponsored benefits as necessary (EAP, health plans, etc.).

This role functions as an individual contributor while regularly collaborating with fellow Directors for case reviews and collective problem-solving. Opportunities for expansion into related activities, such as writing articles and hosting webinars, may also be available.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or higher.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification.

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, employing modern, ethical, compassionate, and person-centered ABA principles.
  • At least 3 years of experience in conducting parent training using ABA and cultural humility principles.
  • Experience in supporting neurodivergent professionals (e.g., ADHD and Level 1 autism) in workplace settings.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple consecutive calls and transition seamlessly between them.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
  • Proficient in making independent decisions and communicating effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive project/client information.
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, connecting remotely with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and executive functioning skills.
  • Bilingual capabilities and the ability to work across international time zones are strongly preferred.
