Patient Care Specialist

Under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Associate delivers high-quality patient care within the scope of practice and adheres to HMNH's policies and procedures.
Licensure and Certification- Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program or completion of at least the first semester of a RN program.
- Current BLS provider card.
- High School Graduate, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months of acute hospital Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Patient-focused.
- Continuous standing and walking, with occasional sitting.
- Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities in fine motor activities, including fingering, grasping, and forward reaching.
- Frequent reaching above shoulder level and overhead.
- Frequent forward bending, twisting, squatting, and kneeling; occasional climbing.
- Occasional repositioning and transferring patients weighing up to 200 pounds.
- Occasional lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional pushing of gurneys, wheelchairs, bed, and other medical equipment.
