Sun River Health is seeking a highly skilled WIC Qualified Nutritionist to join our team at our Monticello site.
Job Summary:The WIC Qualified Nutritionist will be responsible for providing nutrition education and counseling to participants in the WIC program. This includes conducting nutrition assessments, developing personalized nutrition plans, and providing guidance on healthy eating habits.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition plans for WIC participants
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to individuals and groups
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date on the latest nutrition research and guidelines
- Document participant progress and outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
- Experience working with WIC programs or similar populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
