The Department of Justice Division at ManTech is looking for a strategic leader for the Enterprise Data Analysis Section (EDAS) Services Portfolio. This role requires acquiring technical expertise to support IT networks, systems, and initiatives. It is essential for the success of FBI missions and necessitates specialized knowledge in agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The SAFe approach will be employed to align Agile teams and deliver capabilities, ensuring effective prioritization of work and successful outcomes. Experience with SAFe implementation is critical to modernizing and enhancing the capabilities within the EDAS portfolio.

The Insider Threat Office mission operations contract support staff is responsible for maintaining several legacy systems, implementing minor enhancements to still-active applications, ensuring continued operational authority, and ultimately retiring those systems once their functions have been integrated into the Insider & Security Analytics Platform. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for system administration, information system security accreditation, database management, physical infrastructure upkeep, and software development. Candidates should possess experience in Linux administration, VMWare vSphere 6/7, SPLUNK server management, Dell Server, and SAN Storage hardware. Additionally, familiarity with Docker, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Angular, JavaScript, Spring Boot, and Spring, along with a focus on cloud skillsets, particularly AWS solution architecture, is required. Strong expertise in Oracle database and MS SQL is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently execute test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery for production release.
  • Oversee junior staff in the creation of test scripts, if applicable.
  • Develop and review requirements, specifications, and documentation to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the programs and processes to be certified.
  • Provide estimates for assigned tasks.
  • Create and modify test scripts to validate system changes as the lead QA specialist.
  • Develop and maintain test control databases.
  • Ensure the integrity and currency of test databases.
  • Distribute test data from the control database to development staff for adequate unit testing.
  • Define configuration management tasks, such as test scripts and source code control, as required.
  • Release completed projects into production.
  • Develop traceability matrices and test reports.
  • Manage significant program changes or oversee the development of software programs, as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in quality assurance.
  • Strong expertise in executing test scripts and ensuring the delivery of quality software.
  • Experience in Linux administration, VMWare vSphere 6/7, SPLUNK server management, Dell Server, and SAN Storage hardware.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Angular, JavaScript, Spring Boot, and Spring.
  • Focus on cloud skillsets, specifically AWS solution architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and capacity to work independently.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a current/active Top Secret clearance.
