Position Overview:
The Sourcing Recruiter plays a pivotal role in supporting HazTek's operations by ensuring that safety professional roles are filled with qualified candidates ready for immediate onboarding. This hybrid position allows for flexibility, with one day per week spent in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the safety sector to effectively collaborate with hiring managers and fulfill staffing needs.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of pre-screened candidates with diverse qualifications for designated roles and regions.
  • Execute targeted recruiting initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Employ a mix of traditional and innovative sourcing strategies to engage both active and passive job seekers.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations to anticipate and address sourcing requirements.
  • Conduct preliminary screenings to assess candidates against role specifications and experience criteria.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage job postings and candidate interactions.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Create professional candidate profiles for client presentations as needed.
  • Assist with various projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in high-volume recruiting or human resources, with a focus on recruitment.
  • At least two years of experience in a sales-oriented service role, directly engaging with decision-makers.
  • Proficient in utilizing a variety of effective and economical sourcing techniques and systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional or military experience.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and/or a technical safety background.
  • Experience supporting a decentralized workforce for at least one year.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with ICIMS or other ATS platforms.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Exhibit a positive, enthusiastic, and energetic demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Work Schedule:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring one day in the Corporate Office and remote work for the remainder of the week.
  • Standard work hours are typically from 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Occasional weekend or evening work may be necessary.
