Position Overview:

As a vital member of our team, the Nursing Recruitment Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing our nursing workforce. This position involves collaborating closely with Human Resources to streamline all activities related to nursing recruitment and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess nursing recruitment and retention requirements.
- Develop and execute both short-term and long-term strategies for effective nursing recruitment and retention.
- Evaluate the success of nursing recruitment and retention initiatives.
- Coordinate the clinical and non-clinical volunteer programs.
- Implement daily follow-ups with same-day procedure patients from designated units.

Experience Requirements:

Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of nursing management experience, including leadership roles in major hospital committees or departmental teams.

Educational Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Licensure:

Must hold a valid New Jersey State Registered Nursing License.

Essential Skills:

- Exceptional interpersonal, listening, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Marketing skills are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Interpersonal Interactions:

This role requires regular internal and external communication, necessitating tact, discretion, and confidentiality when exchanging information.

Supervision:

No direct supervision is provided; the individual is expected to use initiative and adhere to hospital policies and procedures while addressing most intra and inter-departmental matters. Consultation with the Chief Nursing Executive is required for issues not covered by policy or that necessitate administrative intervention.

Work Schedule:

This position entails working 80 hours per pay period, with hours typically from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
