We are seeking a highly skilled Property Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team at Bridge Investment Group Holdings LLC. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile and analyze financial statements, including accounts receivable, security deposits, and rent roll.
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports, including journal entries, financial statement preparation, and bank reconciliations.
- Perform general ledger analysis and review ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
- Manage deposit accounting, including move-ins and move-outs.
- Conduct rent collection efforts and research tenant statements.
- Follow Bridge policies and procedures, as well as Fair Housing, state, and federal laws.
- Regular, on-time attendance and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Up to 1 year of real estate accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and multiple software packages.
- Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
