About the Role

This is a safety-conscious position that requires the ability to operate a delivery truck in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering containers to neighborhoods and special events, while ensuring the safety of themselves and others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate delivery truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Deliver containers to neighborhoods and special events
  • Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections
  • Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher
  • Perform physically demanding job, lifting, pulling, bending and moving 50 pounds or more
  • Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and containers of trash at designated facilities
  • Courteous interaction with customers
  • Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
