Role Overview:

The Senior Logistics Operations Leader will prioritize safety, continuous improvement, relationship building, effective communication, and strategic planning. You will cultivate a culture centered on safety through awareness, training, and accountability. Your leadership will empower other operational leaders to meet established service, quality, accuracy, and productivity standards. Utilizing key performance metrics, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, GEMBA walks, and other initiatives, you will identify successful practices and areas for enhancement. Your teams will be encouraged to excel in an environment that fosters innovation, calculated risk-taking, and continuous learning. By understanding your team members and championing their unique strengths, you will inspire them to reach their full potential. Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technology, Operations, or a related field, or a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment with applicable management/supervisory experience, or 18-36 months as an Operations Manager.
  • Proven experience with performance metrics and process enhancement.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
  • Capability to motivate others, coupled with strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with the complete staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
  • Flexibility to work various hours as business demands, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including mezzanine platforms.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and programs within the Distribution Center.
