Hospitality Ambassador

LIFE HOUSE & CO. is seeking a skilled Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong floor presence, ensuring seamless service, and providing warm, accommodating, and professional interactions with our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet tables promptly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations
• Accurately take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
• Facilitate drink orders with the bar team and suggest additional menu items
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu and ingredients
• Utilize the POS system to accurately calculate patron bills
• Perform opening and closing side work duties efficiently
• Handle cash transactions with precision and accuracy
• Offer special assistance to patrons with specific needs

• Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Knowledge of food and beverage as a craft or enthusiasm to acquire it
• Genuine desire to be helpful and assist other departments when needed
• Ability to work cooperatively with others in all situations

Requirements & Experience:

• Clear understanding of the English language (verbal and written)
• Ability to respond to emergency situations and maintain a safe environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours per shift
• Working knowledge of basic steps-of-service and serving etiquette
• Working knowledge of food allergens and alcohol safety awareness
• Working knowledge of basic classic cocktails and spirits
• Working basic wine knowledge
• Flexibility in schedule and willingness to meet the demands of a complex operation
• Time management skills and willingness to comply with food safety procedures
