Job Description

Solution Architect leads architecture discussions throughout the life cycle of products and platforms. Conducts the assessment of feature requirements, reviews solution design/development options. Keeps focus on performance, efficiency and cost optimization. Oversees interaction with product teams for technical assessment, maintenance of architecture artifacts. Collaborates with project teams to document future stats.

Additionally, develops prototypes/POC, participates and facilitates training sessions, drives adoption of new technologies and stays updated with industry best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Leads architecture discussions for products and platforms across all stages from ideation, design, development, deployment and maintenance.
  • Assesses business requirements, documenting development requirements with focus on performance, efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Develops options for solutions by analyzing/ translating desired business capabilities into solution concepts and models.
  • Collaborates with product team to conduct technical assessments of internal & external platforms and tools, covering aspects such as service interoperability, infrastructure, scalability, security, availability, data handling, licensing and global footprint.
  • Leads maintenance of architecture artifacts, including architecture working documents and technical architecture diagrams to depict proposed solution & support implementation.
  • Collaborates with project teams to document future state, assessing cost, risk, business value of architecture alternatives.
  • Develops prototypes and proof of concepts to demonstrate new ideas and showcase the adoption of new technologies.
  • Participates in advance level training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills, stay current with industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Solution Architecture with Master's Degree or 5 years of work experience with Bachelor's degree.
