Behavior Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavior Analyst to join our team at Aba Therapy Of St Lucie Inc. As a Behavior Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavior plans to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
  • Develop and implement behavior plans that focus on teaching and other antecedent strategies to reduce problematic behaviors
  • Provide supervision and training to field staff on behavior plan implementation and review
  • Collaborate with caregivers to discuss client progress and address issues related to program objectives
  • Provide caregiver training and support to ensure successful implementation of behavior plans
  • Complete daily progress notes, therapist evaluations, and submit reports as required
  • Develop and maintain ongoing data collection systems to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy

Requirements:

  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) or eligible for certification
  • Experience working with individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
