  • Inventory Management: Maintain desired levels of inventory and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Department Operations: Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and ensure the quality of products for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, orientation, training, and feedback to produce department hosts to ensure satisfactory performance standards.
  • Product Preparation: Prepare, receive, condition, stock, and provide guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Maintain departmental staffing and scheduling standards, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing labor costs.

Requirements:

  • Personality: Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with others, including training and developing team members.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. constantly, as well as bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Cognitive Abilities: Ability to read and understand information and direction, as well as demonstrate a willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of produce operations, effective communication and guest service skills, and ability to supervise people.
