Faculty Position in Neuroscience

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a faculty member in the Department of Neurology at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. The successful candidate will have a joint appointment as an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the In Residence faculty series and will be expected to contribute to our mission of advancing neuroscience research and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct innovative research in neuroscience, with a focus on translational drug discovery and disease-focused neuroscience.
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and postdoctoral fellows in the Department of Neurology.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program, with a focus on securing independent grant support.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or M.D. degree, with a strong background in neuroscience or a related field.
  • At least four years of teaching and mentoring experience, with a track record of independent grant support.
  • Strong research and teaching skills, with a commitment to diversity and excellence.
