We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an In Residence Faculty member at the UCSF Department of Neurology/Gladstone Institute of Neurological Disease. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and academic programs in neuroscience.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct innovative research in neuroscience, with a focus on understanding the mechanisms of major brain disorders such as Alzheimer's disease and related conditions.
- Develop and lead research programs that align with the mission of the Gladstone Institutes and UCSF.
- Teach and mentor students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty members in neuroscience.
- Contribute to the development of new research initiatives and collaborations within the department and across the university.
- Ph.D. or M.D. degree in a relevant field.
- Postdoctoral research experience in neuroscience or a related field.
- Strong publication record and a demonstrated ability to secure independent funding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
