Responsibilities of a Freight Broker

In the role of Freight Broker at Riverside Logistics, you will be instrumental in overseeing the transportation of goods by connecting carriers with loads. You will serve as the primary contact for carriers, ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any issues that may arise. Qualifications

To thrive as a Freight Broker at Riverside Logistics, candidates should possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent, with a preference for a BS/BA College Degree. Ideal candidates will have three to five years of experience in the Transportation Industry and familiarity with Transportation Management Systems, with TIA Certified Transportation Broker certification viewed favorably. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective interaction with carriers and clients.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is necessary for generating reports and maintaining accurate records.
