Key Responsibilities


The RN Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a high-quality, safe, effective, and efficient program across all designated areas, collaborating with various departments within the institution.

This position involves partnering with physicians, nurses, administrators, and support staff to implement the program effectively.

The RN Program Coordinator will provide guidance to stakeholders and contribute to the development of policies, practices, protocols, and procedures in alignment with institutional standards.

Essential functions include serving as a resource, consultant, and project manager for program-related initiatives.

Working closely with the healthcare team and other stakeholders, the coordinator is responsible for program planning, implementation, and evaluation.

This role also involves assisting with necessary education and training, providing valuable insights for departmental leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.

The RN Program Coordinator will establish and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of individuals throughout the institution and may interact with external contacts as required by job responsibilities.


Qualifications

- Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is preferred.

Additional Qualifications:
- Recent experience in RN program management; program coordination and/or leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with research processes.
- Proficiency in utilizing software for data collection, processing, and analysis.
- Certification in the relevant program specialty area, if applicable.

Licensure or Certification:
- Current RN license as per state regulations.
- Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency from recognized programs.


Note: Positions not located on campus may not require current BLS competency as determined by the work area.
