Aerospace Communication Engineer

Position Overview:

The role involves providing engineering support to integrate communication systems within Naval aircraft for DCS Corp.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize engineering principles to assess, analyze, design, and implement military communication systems.
  • Conduct reviews and prepare technical documentation, including engineering analyses, reports, and change proposals.
  • Engage in system integration, configuration management, and quality assurance testing.
  • Evaluate designs and develop products that meet military communication requirements.
  • Create standardized procedures and work instructions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assess technical specifications and performance criteria for communication systems.
  • Contribute to the development of test plans and procedures, providing recommendations as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the role.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or an Engineering Discipline is required, preferably from an ABET accredited program, along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience.

An Interim Secret security clearance is required from the start of employment.

Preferred candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in Navy Test and Evaluation Planning and execution.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Familiarity with the Department of Defense (DOD) System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process and Naval Test Procedures is advantageous. Proficiency in MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint is expected.

Preferred Skills:

Experience of 3 or more years in Electronics Countermeasure Systems is desirable.
