At HBSI, we are seeking a skilled Nurse Lactation Specialist to join our team. As a member of our award-winning team, you will be responsible for providing education to patients and nurses about breastfeeding and human lactation. You will assist mothers in initiating and continuing breastfeeding, and provide care to patients ranging from neonatal through geriatric.
Responsibilities
- Provide education to patients and nurses about breastfeeding and human lactation.
- Assist mothers in initiating and continuing breastfeeding.
- Provide care to patients ranging from neonatal through geriatric.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Undergraduate/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Valid New Jersey Licensure.
- Basic Life Support.
- NRP Certification.
- IBCLC Certification.
- Minimum of five years' experience working with childbearing families or maternal health.
