TalentBurst is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Specialist to join our team in Santa Fe, NM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical nursing and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

This 13-week contract position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. You will ensure that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing care plans, and educating patients and their families on health-related topics.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical histories, treatments, and outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license.
  • BLS Certification required or within 2 weeks of hire date.
  • All other required certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
  • Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served.
  • Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care.
  • Communicates in a clear concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of patient.
