Key Responsibilities
- Manage the operation of plastic injection molding equipment to create plastic components based on predefined production timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Continuously monitor and regulate the press operations, paying close attention to gauges, indicators, and machine performance to ensure optimal functionality and detect any irregularities.
- Conduct thorough quality assessments on each component to confirm compliance with dimensional, aesthetic, and overall quality standards.
- Keep precise records of production metrics, machine configurations, and any modifications made during your shift.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to foster a secure working environment, including the use of personal protective gear and proper handling and disposal of plastic materials and waste.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and quality guidelines to fulfill customer expectations and maintain consistent product excellence.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities with a knack for swiftly identifying and addressing issues.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and operation of machine control panels.
- Strong mechanical skills and manual dexterity.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to adhering to them consistently.
- Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.
- Full-time position.
- Hourly wage of $14.
