We are currently seeking a qualified Operating Room Technician I
*$7,500 sign-on bonus available for new hires (rehires with a gap of over one year are also eligible)*
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, including weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities
Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital

Key Responsibilities
This position reports to the Manager or designated representative. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting the surgical team during operations, ensuring a sterile and safe surgical environment, preparing the operating room, managing instrument supplies, maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, and conducting counts throughout surgical procedures. Additional duties may include on-call responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Completion of high school education plus additional specialized training is required.
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology Program is mandatory.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from a recognized certifying body is required within 12 months of program completion or within 6 months of hire if more than 12 months have elapsed since graduation.
- Basic Life Support certification is essential.
- One year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or provide a valid exemption for medical or personal reasons upon hiring.
USD $44.44 per hour.
