Outpatient Dialysis Nurse

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Outpatient Dialysis Nurse. As a member of our nephrology healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of hemodialysis patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-management and empowerment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
- Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
- Experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a dialysis setting.
- Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience, although not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
