Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Coordinator to join our Bone Marrow Transplant team at Methodist Hospital. This is a critical role that requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, analyze, and present reports on healthcare processes and patient outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Apply current knowledge of FACT and other external standards to ensure continuous compliance and readiness for accreditation and re-accreditation.
  • Participate in efforts to establish and maintain organizational readiness to meet regulatory requirements for FACT accreditation.
  • Assume primary responsibility for confirming cross-organizational compliance with CoC and FACT accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate accreditation application submissions, preparation for accreditation surveys, survey events, and post-survey follow-up.
  • Lead, facilitate, and support the improvement of clinical and service quality in the Bone Marrow Transplant Program.
  • Facilitate the development, monitoring, and reporting of quality improvement processes and quality controls for the Program.
  • Conduct, review, and report audits, verifications, validations, and/or qualifications to verify compliance with elements of the Quality Management Program.
  • Provide reports to Program and medical directors, as well as leadership of the hospital, regarding deviations from SOPs, pathways, and care algorithms.
  • Recommend corrections and maintain Program records in compliance with facility and third-party requirements.
Requirements
  • Mandatory: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or related healthcare degree required.
  • Prefer: BSN
  • Mandatory: Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a hospital setting required.
  • Prefer: Quality Management, FACT, TJC, experience with bone marrow transplant program.
