Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled NDE Level I Technician to join our team at Intertek. As a key member of our Industry Services business, you will work closely with Level II Technicians on various projects at client facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform non-destructive examinations at client facilities under the direction of a Project Manager or Level II Technician.
- Assist in preparing NDE reports and documenting data in a clear and timely manner.
- Learn and apply company NDE procedures and techniques.
- Provide professional representation when interacting with clients and coworkers.
- Stay up-to-date with new developments in NDE technologies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid TWIC card.
- Able to pass a physical exam.
- Mindset of safety first.
- Ability to maintain open communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current 40 hour radiation safety certificate.
- ASNT Level I certification in RT, UT, MT, and/or PT.
- Ability to set up and calibrate equipment, and interpret results to applicable codes and standards.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to organize and report test results, and send information to the office for data processing.
