Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Birdon Pty Ltd. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures, including steel and aluminum components. Your attention to detail and ability to work accurately will be essential in ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities:

- Assemble and fabricate metal structures, including steel and aluminum components
- Understand and interpret drawings and specifications
- Diagnose issues and perform maintenance and repairs as directed
- Ensure work is conducted according to quality system process and Inspection Test Plans
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and productive work environment
- Active participant in daily toolbox
- Work harmoniously with team and other Birdon employees and contractors

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of six months experience in a mechanical assembly environment or demonstrated proficiency in assembling procedures
- Current drivers license

Working Conditions:

- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment where exposure to moving mechanical parts, sharp cutting tools, dust, fumes and airborne particles, temperature extremes and elevated noise level.
- Employees must regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and or move more than 75 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, talk and hear.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protection and work boots.
