Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining various areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, hallways, and common areas. This may include emptying trash, mopping floors, cleaning surfaces, and performing other tasks as needed.

  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms and common areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, providing excellent customer service and support.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You should also be physically able to perform the duties of the job, which may require standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 200 pounds.
