Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and serves meals to residents, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Cleans equipment, work areas, and dining room as assigned
  • Fills water coolers, coffee stations, and snack stations as assigned
  • Follows defined safety codes and infection control procedures at all times
  • Takes direction from the cook in charge in absence of the dietary director
  • Works collaboratively with other members of the dietary team and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitors and records food temperatures to ensure food safety
