We are seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at Monument Health. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in the development of new treatments, medications, and medical devices, ultimately improving patient outcomes on a broader scale.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the efforts of case finding and recruitment of study patients.
- Discuss protocol participation with patients, complete eligibility forms, and ensure completion of informed consent.
- Identify educational needs of study patients and their families, providing needed education or resources to meet learning needs.
- Utilize critical thinking in implementing and coordinating medical and nursing interventions.
- Initiate interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure treatments are administered and modified according to protocol requirements and necessary testing is completed.
- Organize and complete data collection, developing forms when needed.
- Assist with adverse drug reaction reports and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification from the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Clinical Research Coordinator Certification, Human Subject Protection (HSP) certification, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification.
