Job Summary

The Clinical Resource Nurse plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This individual must demonstrate strong communication skills, critical thinking, and a commitment to Patient and Family-Centered Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring employees, promoting best practices, and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, patients, and families.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans that promote good clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Manage patient assignments and ensure safe patient care according to patient acuity.
  • Perform quality control audits and monitor problems related to nursing issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer requests and concerns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Clinical Resource Nurse must possess:

  • A completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
  • A Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • A Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Dakota.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred.
