Job Title: Lactation Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lactation Consultant to join our team at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.

About the Role:

The Lactation Consultant will be responsible for providing expert care to maternal and newborn patients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that prioritizes patient comfort and security.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide lactation support and education to new mothers and their families
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in lactation and maternal child health
Requirements:
  • BSN or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • IBCLC certification required
  • Current California R.N. license required
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification
  • 3 years experience in Maternal/Child acute care setting preferred
