Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at UNC Health Care's Lenoir Health. As a Staff Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency nursing.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.

Requirements:

  • Active and unconditional license as a registered nurse from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • At least two years of experience in emergency nursing or a related field.
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
