Job Summary

The Part-Time Infusion Nurse will provide patients with treatment and education for home health care issues. Responsibilities include observing, assessing, and recording patient symptoms, reactions, progress, and conducting patient education. The nurse will administer treatments and perform therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use the nursing process to plan and provide patient/family care, assessing and evaluating needs, and implementing effective care plans.
  • Coordinate patient care activities and maintain communication with other disciplines, including nursing agency, pharmacist, and physician.
  • Educate the patient/family about the patient's care needs and disease prevention.
  • Follow appropriate infection control measures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records according to policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to ethical nursing standards.
  • Responsible for complying with all policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to complete as many or as few patient visits as needed for business requirements.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with active license by the state of Florida.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least 1 year of recent medical surgical, home health, procedural, or critical care experience.
  • Valid Florida driver's license, active insurance, and reliable vehicle.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and medical charting.
