Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Charge Nurse to oversee the operation, organization, and flow of recipients through our crisis response unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing and experience in crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delegating nursing assignments and overseeing admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Assisting with training and orientation of new staff and overseeing assigned duties of staff
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a smooth flow of admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Ensuring coverage for RN/LPN call-offs and reporting lack of coverage to the Nurse Manager
  • Completing reviews and audits of staff documentation to determine compliance with JCAHO and OMFL standards
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program
  • At least 3-5 years of psychiatric, behavioral health, or relevant experience
  • At least 1-2 years of managerial experience
  • Unrestricted license as Registered Nurse through the Washington State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege
  • American Heart Association BLS
