Job Opportunity:

The Keck Graduate Institute is seeking a highly qualified individual to teach in an integrated oncology pharmacy course.

Key Responsibilities:

As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for creating, delivering, and assessing instruction and its effectiveness for student learning in the doctor of pharmacy curriculum.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing. You should also have experience with electronic learning management systems and testing systems, as well as excellent time management skills and organizational skills. Additionally, you should be able to work as a member of a team of highly motivated and experienced individuals, and demonstrate honesty, integrity, and commitment to maintaining high professional standards.

Special Considerations:

The Keck Graduate Institute has implemented a SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) and Influenza Vaccination Program, which requires all employees and students to submit proof of vaccination or an Institute-approved exception or deferral.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

This role requires the ability to maintain good concentration while dealing with interruptions, attention to details with emphasis on accuracy, and capable of giving, receiving, and analyzing information, formulating work plans, and articulating goals and action plans. You should also be able to sit in a normal seated position for extended periods of time, stand for extended periods of time, and lift and carry short distances up to 20 lbs.
