Job Title: Nurse Educator Labor and Delivery FT Days

Saint Vincent Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Educator to join our team. As a Nurse Educator, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of educational programs for nursing staff across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with market nursing leadership and staff to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing personnel.
  • Act as a key resource in the orientation and continuing education of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Implement a comprehensive education program for the facility, aligning with Tenet's educational goals and vision.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs, including orientation, continuing education, and in-services, to meet the needs of nursing staff.
  • Support the educational needs of assigned units/clinics, including classroom, clinical experiences, and learning technologies.
  • Ensure all program/course revisions meet Department of Nursing and regulatory expectations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two in the area of specialization.
  • Experience in the teaching and learning process.
  • Registered nurse licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of MA.
  • BLS, ACLS.
