CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Sioux Falls Center- FT Evenings

The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents in a long-term care setting. This position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can work effectively as part of a nursing team to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities- Provides assistance with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate.
- Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs.
- Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
- Participates in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
