CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Sioux Falls Center- FT Evenings

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Sioux Falls. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Assist residents with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
The Good Samaritan Society offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $22.50-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
