Position Overview:

As a Senior Clinical Specialist within Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) division, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing heart disease treatment through cutting-edge medical technologies focused on atrial fibrillation. This position is essential in helping patients regain their health and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced engineering, sales, educational, and technical support for complex inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and sales teams regarding EP products.
  • Act as a senior clinical liaison between the medical community and Abbott, fostering strong business relationships and sharing product expertise.
  • Identify and communicate customer needs, product performance, and potential sales opportunities to influence growth and service.
  • Deliver engineering, sales, education, and clinical support for intricate field inquiries as needed.
  • Lead and facilitate training sessions on EP products for healthcare professionals.
  • Offer insights and feedback to management regarding market trends and the development of next-generation products.
  • Provide regional coverage for EP procedural cases.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced Clinical Specialists.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory requirements, and competitor products.
Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year in a previous related position.
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience, either internal or external.
  • Prior experience in the industry or competitive landscape.
  • Exclusive dedication to EP support.
  • IBHRE EP certification.
  • A reputation as a top performer among peers.
  • The ability to independently manage complex EP cases.
  • Experience mentoring and training Clinical Specialists on advanced mapping cases.
  • Verification of compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination.
Compensation:

The base salary for this position ranges from $72,700.00 to $145,300.00, with variations based on specific locations.

Work Environment:

This role is remote, with a standard work shift and travel requirements of approximately 50% of the time.
