Under the supervision of the Heavy Lead Technician, Fleet Maintenance Superintendent, or Director of Fleet Maintenance, the Fleet Shop Laborer performs general labor work in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleans and maintains vehicles, trucks, equipment, and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Keeps all work areas, parking lots, and surrounding buildings clean and organized.
  • Picks up and delivers parts and supplies as needed.
  • Ensures par levels are maintained and communicates with the Manager to replenish supplies.
  • Checks in freight and ensures all items are received and stored in the appropriate warehouse location.
  • Operates a forklift to move material and load/unload.
  • Inputs basic data into Excel.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:

The Fleet Shop Laborer works in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to extreme weather conditions. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude is essential for success in this role.
