The Behavioral Health Team Leader is the working supervisor for a team of clinicians, mental health professionals, and support staff providing mental health and substance use disorders treatment services. Under supervision, they learn to perform psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, monitoring, and discharge planning. They provide counseling and therapy to clients requiring complex intervention. They perform commitment determinations and execute orders of involuntary commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of clinicians and support staff
- Perform psychosocial assessments and treatment planning
- Provide counseling and therapy to clients
- Perform commitment determinations and execute orders of involuntary commitments
- Monitor and evaluate treatment progress
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a related field from an accredited institution
