Work Schedule: Full-Time - Day Shift

Role Responsibilities:

Under supervision, the Radiologic Imaging Specialist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures. This includes:

  • Executing a variety of imaging techniques to ensure quality patient care.
  • Assisting with patient flow and care as delegated by nursing staff.
  • Performing specialized procedures as required.

Qualifications:

Licensure and Certification:

Current State of Florida license as a General Radiographer and ARRT (R) certification are mandatory.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of Diagnostic Radiological Procedures and Positions
  • Ability to assess and apply appropriate technical factors
  • Familiarity with Radiographic and Fluoroscopic equipment
  • Strong communication skills to interact with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field
  • Experience in procedural areas, particularly in pain management and fracture care
  • Proficiency with PACS and related technologies

Value to the Team:

Utilizing established positioning criteria and technical exposure parameters, the Radiologic Imaging Specialist performs all necessary imaging projections for assigned procedures. Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing images for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Maintaining effective communication regarding exam status and patient care.
  • Utilizing the computer system for updating exam statuses and ensuring accurate billing.
